Shelter Arrangement - Weekly or Monthly Detailed Line Item
Costing Before a
company moves in to a Rapid facility operating under a
shelter agreement, we start the process with a very simple
quotation format detailing applicable items such as:
1 - Direct Labor Costs
2 - Indirect Labor Costs
3 - Administration Support
4 - Miscellaneous Expenses
5 - Basic Building Utility and Space Costs
6 - Special Facility Costs (for a Class 10,000 Clean Room
as an example)
7 - Shelter Fee
8 - Income Tax
9 - Equipment Utilities (Generally a client will move some
or all of their own equipment into our plant and we will
meter and bill for equipment utilities as a separate line
item)
10 - Warehousing and/or Fulfillment Costs (F.O.B. El Paso,
TX)
Our contracts for Shelter or Contract Manufacturing
arrangements are very simple and very fair - making the
decision easy to choose to partner with Rapid over other
providers.
In a
contract manufacturing or piece price arrangement, we
charge per unit of actual production. In many cases, the
quickest way to get started is when the client redirects
their supply chain to ship material to El Paso, TX
warehouse where we take it from there. We will take care of
everything and deliver finished product right back to the
same warehouse in the agreed upon time frame. We offer
fulfillment as well, letting the client focus on servicing
their customer and not concerning themselves with the day
to day details of manufacturing.
Over time, you the client may wish to source some
components within Mexico which we can provide assistance
with as well. This can evolve into a complete turnkey
solution in some cases. Initially, using the clients
existing supplier base and bringing in on consignment,
enables manufacturing to begin in a much shorter timeframe.
In any case, our MRP can support your supply chain
management at any stage of the project.
